Partnered with the restaurant Lucille’s Oyster Dive, Lucille’s Seafood Co. is an emerging seafood importer and distributor based out of Montreal. Founded in 2009, our original concept was to supply local restaurants with shellfish.
During the launch phase of the company we traveled extensively, visiting the crab boats in St-Paul, Alaska, various suppliers in British Colombia, and several oyster farms and lobster pounds in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Maine. As a result, we were able to secure top-quality suppliers, and even signed several agreements with oyster farmers for exclusivity in the Quebec market. Within a short time, our clientele quickly grew, servicing most of Montreal’s top restaurants and oyster bars.
We have since grown into a full-scale seafood importer and distributor adding fresh fish to our repertoire. And, in 2010 we also began distributing 1855 USDA beef products.
